SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it really is alarmed with regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to sassa reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider place created for intervention experiences a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
